Learn the concept of man’s “multiple I’s.” According to Gurdjieff, we don’t have a unified self but rather an infinite number of “I’s”(thoughts, emotions, and values) that are very different from each other and are in continuous hostility. Some of these “I’s” tend to dominate and be in control, and some tend to be repressed and put in the shadows. Our personality type finds some of those “I’s” appealing, and therefore presents them as our personality, and represses all other “I’s”.

Gurdjieff said that in order for us to have a full human experience, all of these “I’s” need to be acknowledged and integrated.

For Sufi’s, there is a concept called the Complete Human. This is when someone has integrated everything inside and is a mirror of the whole universe. They become a representation of all forms of life, all thoughts, all emotions, and all behaviors.

The human journey is about integrating all those I’s to create more harmony inside ourselves.

Why attend this event?

This two-day course will introduce Gurdjieff’s theory of the infinite “I’s”, Sufi theory of the Complete Human, and add new perspectives on Enneagram theory. This is an invitation to awaken the full human in you, to become a representation of all and everything. You will come out of the course with a broader sense of experience and expand beyond the limits of your personality.

I have been looking for content on Gurdjiffian concept of "multiple I's", the Gurdjiffian concept of Man number 1 to Man number 7, shadow work, 99 names of God, and the Enneagram. This course tied all of these together beautifully and we also got to do experiential shadow work. You just can't find content like this out there. [Dina] was so articulate and clear in this course; this was my first time learning about Sufis the 99 names, and I had no trouble following along. Highly recommended!

Dina ElBadry is an IEA-accredited professional and is the Head Mentor in the Personal Mastery Program at Chestnut Paes Enneagram Academy. She studied and teaches the CP levels of awareness model that are based on both Gurdjieffian & Sufi work. Students are not required to participate live. However, there are elements of the event that students who only watch the recordings will miss.
This event will be recorded, with the exception of small group discussions. Attendance is highly encouraged to get the full experience of the event. Participants will have access to the recordings for six months.
