why the enneagram
Beatrice and Uranio cover the power of the Enneagram in every human being’s inquiry to awakening. They discuss how it can be helpful in everyday life, professionally, and spiritually. Beatrice and Uranio also discuss how students can approach discovering their type. They talk about the journey and what to be attuned to when inquiring.
THE THREE CENTERS
The three intelligence centers tell us so much about our behaviors, our tendencies, and general approaches when we interact with the world. Knowledge of the centers alone can tell us so much about the actions of those with whom we interact. This creates more empathy in relationships and allows us to surpass social biases by valuing different types of intelligence.
THE TYPES & SUBTYPES
If you know The Academy’s work, chances are you know how central the 27 subtypes are to everything we do. Beyond deep-diving into the Nine Types, Beatrice and Uranio also describe each of the 27 subtypes to helps students understand key differences within the types. This is a fundamental portion of the teaching that underpins all of the courses that we offer.
GROWTH PATHS
Central to The Academy’s work is an underpinning belief that we must all do our own inner work in order to support others. In this spirit, Beatrice and Uranio describe the growth paths for each of the Nine Types. Providing key areas where students can focus, this dimension of the course makes it useful both to those who want to grow themselves or help others do so.
