ABOUT THE ACADEMY
The Chestnut Paes Enneagram Academy was founded by Beatrice Chestnut and Uranio Paes to provide high-quality and structured paths of development for people interested in using the Enneagram model to further their personal and professional lives. We make the Enneagram system comprehensible and enable its personal and professional use while drawing on its power and complexity. We provide Enneagram trainings and retreats in which people apply the Enneagram to deepen their inner growth efforts and enhance their expertise in delivering effective interventions using the system with clients and students. We are creating a supportive community in which you can grow in relationship with others who are also seeking to learn new skills and develop a greater capacity to reach their goals and manifest their maximum potential.
A regular schedule of live programs is offered in the United States, United Kingdom, Brazil, Egypt, and China. Courses are also offered in Italy, South Africa, Sweden, Thailand, when possible.

Our work is based on the most current, high-quality understanding of the Enneagram, while also honoring the root teachings of the most authoritative developers of the system. With a rigorous, academic approach, we build on the works of seminal thought leaders in the field.

We teach the Enneagram map and a wide range of psycho-spiritual insights about what it takes to grow, while also focusing on individuals’ specific needs. We include all aspects of the Enneagram typology while making sure participants identify and work on the core issues that are limiting their growth.

meet the founders
beatrice chestnut, phd
Beatrice is a psychotherapist, coach, and business consultant based in San Francisco. She holds graduate degrees in communication and clinical psychology and is the author of the books, The Complete Enneagram: 27 Paths to Greater Self-Knowledge, and The 9 Types of Leadership: Mastering the Art of People in the 21st century Workplace. She recently co-authored The Enneagram Guide to Waking Up with business partner, Uranio Paes. She was president of the International Enneagram Association in 2006 and 2007. A student of the Enneagram for over 30 years, Beatrice is respected as a thought leader in the field of Enneagram studies.
URANIO PAES, MBA
Uranio is internationally recognized as a leading Enneagram facilitator, coach, and organization development consultant. He has worked in corporate settings for over two decades and now specializes in doing transformational work with groups and individuals based on the Enneagram. A former President of the International Enneagram Association, for many years Uranio taught the Enneagram Worldwide Narrative Tradition Professional Training (EPTP) Program in Brazil, Spain, Portugal, and Italy. He recently co-authored The Enneagram Guide to Waking Up with business partner, Beatrice Chestnut.
